Book Release: Hobnob with the Elite Geeks of Seattle

I’m really excited! The book release party for the new edition of The Compassionate Geek is going to be at Lucid Lounge in the University District. This is the same Lucid Lounge that is host to Nerd Nites and frequent author readings (and they have fabulous cocktails, too). I can’t think of a better place to celebrate the release of my new book with family, friends, and fans. The date is Monday, November 4. Doors open at 6:30 and the event starts at 7:30. We’re still working on the details, but plan on some reading, a brief talk, some trivia, and certainly some great cocktails thanks to David the master of mixology.

Here’s a link to the Facebook event.

The elite of Seattle geeks will be there and I really hope you can make it, too.

UPDATE: We’re going to have great music with guitarist extraordinaire Brad Benefield and saxophonist Todd Lien, screenwriter Steve Edmiston, and King County Council Member Julia Patterson. This will definitely make for an evening of conviviality including music, trivia, readings, author comments, and book signing, plus Lucid’s amazing cocktails. Doors open at 6:30. No charge, but come early for the best seats and a table.
